Dr. Miller performs very detailed comprehensive exams on all of our new patients. Comprehensive exams include x-rays, oral cancer screening, periodontal charting, and intra-oral photos. Routine periodic exams are performed once a year for our existing patients. We are also always available for emergency visits.

Dental prophylaxis cleaning is recommended twice a year for patients without significant periodontal or gum problems. Patients who have a history of periodontal disease should generally have periodontal maintenance cleanings every 3-4 months. We have two wonderful and highly experienced hygienists available Monday through Thursday to take care of your hygiene needs.

Tooth colored fillings

Composite Fillings are made of tooth colored materials. Composite fillings restore decayed or previously filled teeth back to their original natural appearance and function. Another great advantage of composite fillings is that they are hardened or cured with a special light and are functional immediately following placement.

A Veneer is a thin layer of material placed over a tooth surface to improve the cosmetic appearance or to protect chipped or damaged teeth.

Crowns are primarily used to improve the strength of teeth; they can be made up of many different materials.  They are usually placed when little natural tooth structure remains or when a tooth has had extensive treatment and needs re-enforcement.

Bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth and are made up of multiple crowns connected together. Bridges are supported by the natural teeth, permanently cemented, and can be made up of many different materials.

Implant Crowns

Implants are an ideal replacement for one or more missing teeth. They are far superior to dentures, more conservative than bridges, and offer long term stability and more permanency than other options.  After an implant is placed by a surgeon, an implant crown is needed to restore function and a natural appearance. Implant crowns are made of many different materials including gold, porcelain, titanium and zirconia.
